Borland Developer Studio (BDS) delivers a flexible programming environment that allows you to create the applications of your dreams. BDS includes Delphi_ 2006, C++Builder_ 2006 and C#Builder_ 2006 as well as support for Microsoft_ .NET Framework, ASP.NET, VCL.NET, VCL, Web Applications, Web Services, UML Modeling, and Win32 SDKs. With the same support for all languages, your investment in your code is safe, and can be re-used for all the projects on your docket – now and into the future. You can even mix projects on different languages and platforms in the same Project Group.

Model driven development is seen by many to be central to very rapid application development in a true Object Oriented architecture. Borland's ECO technology embodies model driven development initiatives, with ECO, the model is the system. Join Tim Jarvis, the APAC Product Evangelist Team Leader, CodeGear, as he demonstrates the awesome power that ECO puts into a developer's hands.

Interoperation is key to modern development, the ability to re-use code from different languages and targeting different platforms is one of Borland Developer Studio's strengths, with 4 language personalities, you have a wealth of choices available to you, but the ability to interoperate between them all is a significant advantage - Tim will show you how.

Join Tim as he demonstrates the new language additions to Delphi Win32 such as:
• For in loop iteration
• Records with methods
• Operator overloading
• Class variables / Static class data

Language additions to Delphi .NET such as:
• Multi unit namespaces
• Unmanaged exports / inverse P/Invoke
• Nested Types (also in Delphi Win32)

As well as new language features Tim will demonstrate new productivity enhancements in Borland Developer Studio such as:
• Changes in the Code Editor to color highlight changed code
